The Chronicles of Narnia 4: The Silver Chair movie is in the works!!!

After almost 3 years of waiting (after the release date of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader film in 2010) we now finally have a new update and yes, the best update yet for the next Narnia film!


In 2011, it was agreed that The Magician's Nephew will be the next film for it is the creation of Narnia, and that was being said by the film producer and Walden Media's Michael Flaherty.

In 2012, the stepson of C.S. Lewis, Douglas Gresham confirmed that there will be no Narnia film till 2018 for there is a 7 year moratorium in making more Narnia films outside Walden Media and Gresham wants to make The Silver Chair as the next Narnia film independently or with the help of Andrew Adamson (director of the first two Narnia films).

Last week of September, Gresham hinted us that there will be more Narnia films for sure in an interview with William O' Flaherty.

October 1st, now we have the best news yet about Narnia 4! The Mark Gordon Company is set to produce the next Narnia film which will be The Silver Chair as many fans hoped and speculated. We do not know yet if Walden Media will still be involved and when will be the release date.

MAIN QUESTIONS:
-Will walden media and 20th century fox still be involved?
-Will Ben Barnes, Liam Neeson, Peter Dinklage and Will Poulter reprise their roles?
-Who will play Jill Pole, Puddleglum, Emerald Witch and others?
-When will be the release date?

The C.S. Lewis Company has entered into an agreement with The Mark Gordon Company to jointly develop and produce The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair, the fourth book published in C.S. Lewis' famed fantasy series. The announcement was made today by The C.S. Lewis Company.

Mark Gordon stated, "Like many readers, both young and old, I am a huge fan of C.S. Lewis's beautiful and allegorical world of Narnia. These fantasy stories inspire real-world passion among millions of devoted fans around the world. As we prepare to bring the next book to life, we are humbled and excited to contribute to the outstanding legacy of Narnia."

Douglas Gresham, stepson of C.S. Lewis stated, "I have a great deal of respect for Mark Gordon's work and am confident that together we can bring the beauty and magical delight that Narnia engenders in the hearts of those who read the books to the screen in 'The Silver Chair.' I am very much looking forward to diving once more into Narnia, this time with Mark Gordon and his team."
