Narnia 4: In my own opinion
It's been 2 years and 4 months since The Voyage of the Dawn Treader set sailed on the big-screen and in the present time, there is no Narnia 4 film yet (even a development, production, cast, script, etc are still in scratch). There are many disagreements between two parties: Doulgas Gresham wants to make The Silver Chair next but Walden Media wants The Magician's Nephew next. So here's my opinion on which book they should adapt and film next.
The Silver Chair
I think it’s also good if they will make Narnia 4 a prequel to The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. These are the reasons why they should film and release The Magician’s Nephew as the fourth Narnia film: The book sale of The Magician’s Nephew is second to The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe as the number one of the series; The book is one of the most famous and sold book in the series; and the story is about the creation of Narnia and how it all began from an apple to a wardrobe. I think those are few from the reasons why The Magician’s Nephew should be Narnia 4. Walden Media, Fox and C.S. Lewis Estate had a negotiations and discussions that Narnia 4 will probably be The Magician’s Nephew for they believe that it will save the film franchise and other reasons are like those that I stated above. Also, the Narnia team revealed that the late executive producer of Narnia franchise, Perry Moore had secured funding for the Magician’s Nephew. Nevertheless, The Magician’s Nephew will also be a good Narnia 4 being a prequel to the first trilogy.
The Silver Chair
I would really want to see
The Silver Chair as the fourth Narnia film. These are the reasons why they
should film and release The Silver Chair as the fourth Narnia film: It is the
successor of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and as the end of the movie in Dawn
Treader, there was a spoiler given prior to Jill Pole, meaning The Silver Chair
is more likely to be the next Narnia film; Will Poulter (who plays Eustace
Scrubb) will get too old if they will not make The Silver Chair next; The
Silver Chair is the story next to The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
chronologically; Many fans are expecting to see The Silver Chair as the fourth
Narnia film; and lastly, many movie goers will be confused if they will see The
Magician’s Nephew next for the story narrates the creation of Narnia and many
questions will pop-up in their minds like “where are these character come from?”
or “where are the Pevensies?”
