Lewis' former home could be destroyed for 'POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT' Near residents and fans of the great author have called for it to save the home. Lewis lived there from 1922-1930 after he returned from the 1st World War. So, is it okay for you to let them destroy the former home of the creator of the Narnia Chronicles? This is a festival in celebration of the great Christian author, apologist and creator of Narnia, C.S. Lewis is underway in Oxford. Exact 5 years ago, Pauline Baynes died and that was shortly weeks after the film release of the movie adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian on May 2008. Today is the 91st birthday of the highly acclaimed book illustrator. I have made this special video presentation for her 91st birthday today, September 9. The video features a little biography of the illustrator with some images of her illustrated works for The Chronicles of Narnia and the background music is from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe official movie soundtrack by Harry Gregson-Williams: Lucy Meets Mr Tumnus and Only the beginning of the adventure.
